Affordable Housing / Independent Living Apartment Homes

Senior with DoctorBrothers Redevelopment provides a variety of affordable housing options for more than 700 low-income seniors and families at 14 properties located throughout the Denver metro area. These federally-subsidized independent living communities provide a safe, secure and comfortable setting for those in need. At a few of our properties, we also work with other nonprofit and service agencies to provide more extensive health and wellness, recreation and transportation services.

By making these homes available to qualified residents, ‘Brothers’ provides a valuable service to a burgeoning senior population while helping the region address one of its most pressing challenges.

East Bay at Hidden Lake - Wait List Opened June 1, 2015

Brothers Redevelopment has opened the waitlist for East Bay at Hidden Lake, our 81-unit community for Seniors located in Westminster.  Senior is defined as 62 and older. An applicant must be 62 years of age at the time the application is submitted. You can find an application by clicking HERE.

Property Wait List Closed for all other Brothers Communities

Because Brothers Redevelopment has an adequate pool of applicants for most of its properties, we closed our RENTALS wait list on Aug. 1, 2014.  Communities impacted include: Brook Haven, Clayton, Corona, Decatur, Edgewater Plaza, Federal View, Garfield, Jefferson Terrace, La Alma, Sheridan Glen and William Tell Apartments.

When the wait list is fewer than 18 months, Brothers will reopen the wait list and will notify future applicants by placing notices in local publications and posting it on the Brothers Redevelopment web site. Thank you for your patience.

Property Management

Our oversight and management of these units also ensures that residents’ basic housing needs are met and that conditions are in compliance with federal housing standards established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

For Brothers Redevelopment, resident safety and comfort is a top priority. A majority of our properties have on-site managers and maintenance personnel to address issues promptly. All properties also see regular inspections and audits — ensuring sound stewardship and transparency.

Our oversight and ownership of these senior-oriented complexes also provides ‘Brothers’ a regular stream of earned-income — helping to offset some of the costs associated with the agency’s other important housing programs.
