With mortgage rates at historic lows and a large inventory of homes on the market along the Front Range, there may not be a better time to purchase a home.

First-time homeowners wanting to take advantage of the favorable market conditions to purchase a home should attend Brothers Redevelopment’s upcoming Homebuyer Workshop, set for Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 31.  The informative workshop is free and will take place at Edgewater Plaza, located at 2250 Eaton St., just a few blocks west of Sheridan Blvd.

 

Led by knowledgeable housing counselors, the workshop will lend valuable insight into the home-buying process. Specifically, participants will gather information about working with a realtor and learn about the many real and ‘hidden’ costs associated with homeownership. 

Representatives from lending industry also will be on hand to discuss, in detail, the many loan products that are available to qualified buyers.  They’ll also work with the housing counselors to help homeowners avoid the household budget busters that can put homeowners at risk of foreclosure.
