Gather your group in 2010!

Working with 'Brothers,' your group can volunteer to make a difference this spring and summer!

There are no lazy days of summer at Brothers Redevelopment.

For our organization, the season of fun, sun and backyard barbecues also is filled with dozens of volunteer-driven projects designed to help low-income homeowners.

Volunteer programs have always served as the cornerstone of Brothers Redevelopment’s programming. Since 1971, the organization has utilized volunteers to assist low-income, disabled and elderly residents with their housing needs.   Often, volunteers and sponsors come together to invest in our community and make a dramatic impact in the lives of low-income homeowners.
In order to assist more Coloradans each year, ‘Brothers’ recruits three-to-four seasonal summer staff to facilitate volunteer projects such as our Annual Paint-A-Thon, Adams County’s Helping Hands initiative,  and Thornton’s Help for Homes program.

These hardworking youth work closely with the dozens of volunteer teams that help us fulfill our mission each year.

Because we work throughout the summer and because we see no shortage of clients approaching us with housing needs, Brothers is able to accommodate groups of nearly any size at any time between March and October.

Most commonly, volunteer teams can expect to paint homes, clean yards, trim trees, fix gutters and much more.
Last year, volunteers collectively donated nearly 20,000 hours to help Brothers Redevelopment clients.
