EDGEWATER, CO, July 5, 2017--On July 1, The Action Center of Jefferson County’s tenant-landlord helpline passed the phone to Colorado Housing Connects, Brothers Redevelopment's toll-free bilingual call center for people navigating non-emergency housing needs, services and resources.
The Action Center’s tenant-landlord helpline program served many years as a free housing-information resource for Jefferson County residents. Now callers with housing
questions throughout the county and state can access expanded services through Colorado Housing Connects. The resource receives nearly 20,000 calls from consumers annually.
Callers can get answers about common rental housing questions, receive referrals and be directed to housing resources by calling Colorado Housing Connects, 1-844-926-6632. The helpline also answers questions about buying and maintaining homes.
Clients who call the old Action Center line (303-237-0230) on July 1 or later will be transferred to Colorado Housing Connects, which offers them expanded hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
